Taylor Stitch

Responsibly Built For The Long Haul

A rocky, grassy precipice overlooks calm water and coastal mountains.

The clothing industry can and should be different. Taylor Stitch organizes its work around a set of practical commitments that help us build great clothing while limiting our environmental impact.

Our pillars of responsibility

  • Sourcing responsibly. We look for organic, recycled, and otherwise lower-impact fibers and components.
  • Building responsibly. We partner with factories and craftspeople who share our standards for fair wages, quality control, and environmental care.
  • Closing the loop. Durable construction, repair support, recycled packaging, and recovered deadstock keep useful materials in circulation.
  • Creating a community. We use our platform to support people and organizations working to protect the places we all share.

Materials with a point of view

Organic cotton, hemp, non-mulesed merino wool, recycled insulation, and byproduct-sourced leather all have a role in our range. When the right fabric does not exist, we work with partners to develop it.

Built to wear in, not out

Our Long Haul Guarantee reflects a simple idea: the best product is the one that stays in your closet. We make timeless designs with rugged construction, offer guidance for care and repair, and work with our partners to reuse or donate excess fabric.
